We encourage monthly visits to our kennels, so that puppies can familiarize themselves with the GDA campus, as they grow and learn. To make a reservation, please use the Boarding Request or email boarding@guidedogsofamerica.org. Please be sure to bring a Dog Drop Off Form at time of boarding.
After making the arrangements for your puppy to be watched by someone, please let GDA | TLC know about it using the puppy sitters form.
Also reminder your sitter that at the end of each time a person watches your puppy, the sitter needs to complete the Puppy Sitters Report.
Outside veterinary care requires pre-approval for reimbursement. Once approved, please submit a Veterinary Reimbursement Form .If you have difficulty accessing or submitting a form, please contact us at 818-362-5834 or mail@guidedogsofamerica.org
Puppy raisers are required to complete monthly reports detailing the puppy's progress, concerns or challenges you or your puppy have experienced, as well as outings you've been on.
Monthly reports are due on the 1st of every month. To help remind you, you'll receive an automatic email with a specific link for your puppy's monthly report. This link should not be shared with anyone else as it is connected to your puppy. The email is sent to the address GDA | TLC has on file for you, so please reach out to Canine Development Staff if your email address changes.
GDA|TLC staff will review every report at the beginning of the month.
Puppy Raisers will receive an email with a dedicated link specific to their puppy and the month of the report on the 29th. Please only use the unique link sent to you each month.
