The audience of this page is those people who are leading and facilitating the Puppy K class. Puppy Raisers should use the menu above to navigate to Puppy K to access all their material. This is important to ensure they are always provided the latest information and this is also how we deliver the homework sheets with the videos.
The purpose of this page is to share tips to make your class a success. We will use this page to convey important details about the content and to highlight areas that might need more attention and help you avoid difficult areas.
Using a binder is a great way to keep your material together. We suggest the following items for your binder
Having a phone with you to take short videos will be helpful so you can track progress or be able to send to CD trainers for assistance. It is easier to show a video then it is to verbalize a behavior.
You may want to use your phone to show the videos provided to the Puppy Raisers or you can encourage them to watch it on their time. The videos should reenfornce what is being taught and help remind the PRs during the week they are practicing.
It is highly recommended you print the curriculum and add it to your binder. While this is more work on your part, it has been shown to improve time in the class room. This allows you to give your attention to the Puppy Raisers without having to look at a screen.
Next to the topic's title is the date when the topic was last updated. This is also displayed to the PRs on their pages.
